and Conditions
1) AIC Display provide warranty for its products distributed
to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal
use during the warranty period, and will at it sole option,
repair or replace the product with a similar product. If applicable
then replacement product or parts may include new, remanufactured
or refurbished parts or components.
2) During the warranty period as indicated above, AIC Display
will, at no additional charge, replace defective parts or products
with new parts or serviceable parts or products that are equivalent
to new parts or products in performance.
3) Any software related faults resulting from incorrect software
installation, the failure of the product to perform for any
purpose other than its intended purpose and introduced viruses
or bugs shall not be considered as AIC Display product faults.
4) This warranty automatically becomes void if the product has
been physically damaged or rendered as defective unit :
(a) as a result of accident, misuse, or abuse, or other circumstance
beyond AIC Display's control;
(b) by the use of parts or peripherals not manufactured or supplied
by AIC Display;
(c) by use within an improper operating environment;
(d) by modification of the product;
(e) by the serial number or warranty seal being removed or defaced.
AIC Display LCD Monitor Warranty Policy
1) AIC Pixel Policy - The LCD screen is manufactured using high
precision technology. Due to the complex nature of the manufacturing
process, the screen may have cosmetic defects that appear as
(bright, dark and color) dots on the screen. This does not impair
the performance of the LCD monitor and is not considered defective
in the LCD industry.
6) AIC Display reserves the right to refuse a warranty claim
for repair or replacement of the LCD monitor if the number of
defective pixel falls within specifications stated below :

* 1st year only from date of purchase, 4 bright pixels from
2nd year and 3rd year onward.
What is Bright and Dark Pixel? An imperfection may appear on
the screen if either the pixel or sub-pixel is stuck always
ON; a bright pixel on a dark background, or it is stuck always
OFF; a dark pixel on a bright background.
AIC Display Warranty Period
To obtain warranty service, end user must provide :
(1) The present proof of original purchase receipt or invoice.
(2) The warranty card clearly stating model number, serial number,
date of purchase, name and address.
The warranty period for all products will be as specified below.
It will be commenced from the date of purchase on the invoice
or receipt. If end users cannot present the invoice or receipt
upon servicing, the warranty period shall be commenced from
the date of manufacture as appeared on the back label of the
product.
* LCD Monitor
Three (3) Years carry-in warranty for parts and labor except
One and One ( 1 ) Year warranty for LCD panel from purchase
date.
* Plasma TV / Monitor
One (1) Year carry-in warranty for parts and labor and One (1)
year warranty on Plasma panel from the purchase
date.
Limitation of Liability
Except for the warranties set forth herein, AIC Display disclaims
all other warranties, expressed or implied or statutory, including
but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability
or fitness for a particular purpose.
Any implied warranties that may be imposed by applicable law
are limited to the terms of this limited warranty. In no event
shall AIC Display be liable for any incidental, special or consequential,
damages, including but not limited to loss of business, profits,
data or use, whether in an action in contract or tort or based
on a warranty, arising out of or in connection with the use
or performance of the product, even if AIC Display had been
advised of the possibility of such damages.
If, despite the foregoing limitation, for any reason AIC Display
becomes liable to you for damages incurred by you in connection
with this agreement, then, the liability of AIC Display will
be limited to the amount equal to the invoice amount paid by
you to AIC Display or an AIC Display authorized reseller for
the product.
